The Plays That Make Up the 2009 Theatre Season
The 2009 season will feature a full schedule of shows. All of the plays of the Rehoboth Summer Children's Theatre are original scripts. Some are by company founders Steve and Elise Seyfried; others are Steve's alone. All feature broad, physical humor; fast-paced action and excitment; clever dialogue; and a unique brand of fun. Audience members of all ages enjoy these dynamic adaptations of classic stories.
Alice in Wonderland
Alice follows a White Rabbit into a world of enchantment where she attends a tea party with no tea, joins the White Knight for a life-size game of chess and finds her way into the most unusual croquet match ever. With an hilarious hatter, a cool cat and a deck of goofy cards, Wonderland is a delight for all!

Anansi, the Trickster
One of the oldest and most popular bugs of folklore scuttles to the shore. Anansi, the clever spider, must accomplish four impossible tasks. Only then will Nyame, the supreme ruler, return all the stories he has taken from the earth. With his wits, his web and a little bit of luck, Anansi passes the test and the people (and bugs) of the earth can enjoy their stories once again.

Jack and the Beanstalk
When young Jack tries to sell the family cow, he is tricked into trading her for a bag of "Quick-Growing Bean Seeds". To his surprise the seeds produce a towering beanstalk that reaches the clouds. At the top, Jack finds an Ogre's castle and three treasures, a bag of silver coins, a hen that lays golden eggs and an enchanted harp.

Cinderella
One of our all-time favorite shows returns! This imaginative version takes a fresh look at the age-old story of romance, royalty and the search for dependable household help. The addition of Miles, the trumpeter in the Palace Band adds a lively beat to the familiar tale of Cinderella and Prince Charming.
